Advertising is promotion of products and services produced by a company. Products are advertised primarily to increase sales of the products and services. It also helps to build a brand identityIt is an important tool to communicate information about new products and services to the customers. Advertising has become a significant component of the corporate world.As a result, most of the companies allocate a good amount of revenue earned towards advertising.
There are several media options available for Companies to advertise their products and services.

Oglivy once said, "Advertising justifies its existence when used in the public interest - it is much too powerful a tool to use solely for commercial purposes.".
