ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder is commonly known as ADHD. Children may have ADHD primarily with inattention or impulsive and hyperactive behavior.
Inattention is usually identified by problems in school work. The child may fail to finish school work, may often make careless mistakes, and often may forget many things. Anything can distract the child. The child may lose personal items regularly. Even when spoken to directly, the child may not pay attention to what is said, and be unable to provide feedback when asked. The child may regularly fail to complete assignments in school because of forgetfulness and disorganization rather than resistance to authority.
One very important point is that this disorder does not reflect low intelligence. Mostly ADHD children are average or above average in intelligence. Hyperactive and impulsive behavior is quite easy to identify because a child with ADHD rarely sits still for long. Even while sitting, the child may fidget and bounce in his/her seat.

More number of boys are diagnosed with ADHD all over the World. In school, the child may have trouble to remain seated at one place for long time, and may frequently blurt out answers out of turn, without waiting to be called. The child never ceases to talk about everything, and to everyone who would be ready to listen. This may at times, cause friction with peers.
